How do I book a session?

Reach out to me on any social media platform, email me or yell at me on the street! Anyway you want to get ahold of me is totally fine!

I’m ready to book, what’s next?

Once your ready to book your session I will send you a contract for you to review and sign! After you sign the contract I will invoice you through your preferred method of payment. At the time of booking the required non-refundable deposit (half of the total price of the package) is required. In the event that you are looking to book me for a wedding, I do require either a in person or over the phone interview to take place before you book. I want your big day to be the VERY best that it can be and part of that is making sure that were a good fit and that I have a clear understanding of your expectations and needs! If your local, let me take you out for a cup of coffee!

Why is the deposit non-refundable?

I require a non-refundable deposit to hold your session date and time. I do this, along with a contract, to ensure that my clients are serious and ready to go forward with their session. I have in the past had clients “book” sessions and then never show up! This was frustrating and hard to manage as a business when you are turning away people who want that time/day and people would just not show up. Just like most service based businesses now a days, to protect myself and ensure that you are guaranteed time/ date I do require that deposit! If something comes up, just let me know! Life happens and I will ensure that your session still happens and work with you! On some occasions where a re-shoot cannot be scheduled and I am able to re-book that session time and day, I will be able to refund the customer.

What should I wear?

I want you to be comfortable and look nice just as much as you do! I am always willing to put together styling guides when requested! Matching doesn’t always have to be ensuring everyone has a yellow shirt, play with tones and color palettes! I do recommend staying away from over bearing patterns, plaid is cute but not on everyone! It distracts from the most important things in the photo, YOU! Obviously wear whatever you think looks great and is comfortable for you! These photos are your investment!

I’m so awkward, I’m scared you won’t get a good photo…

Girl, Same. I am one of the most awkward people there is! BUT I really love to play during my sessions! I start small, some slight posed shots that I walk you through and work my way up based on how everyone is acting! I’m also hilarious so most of the time I have no problem getting people to laugh. We will work together at your pace to ensure we get some photos you love! I always recommend (especially for men, no offense you just typically hate photos more) to be open to what I suggest. Some things may make you scratch your head but I PROMISE that the end outcome is so worth it!

What happens after? When will I get my photos?

I will typically release a “sneak peek” to my social media of your session within 1 business day. This can include anywhere between 1-10 photos from your session. These photos will most likely be watermarked. You are MORE than welcome to share to your social media, just please do not remove my watermark or distort my images in anyway :) Instagram filters are cute, but please love your photos as they are! Typical turn around time for basic sessions is between 7-14 business days depending on how busy I am. I usually have a good idea at the time of your session and will give you a better timeline but just know that at most it can be 2 weeks.

Weddings are a whole different beast. Depending on your package the turn around time is between 6-8 weeks. Your day is SO special I want to make sure I pick through your photos with a fine tooth comb to ensure I get you the best photos from your day and take my time editing them. I can take up to 3K images during a wedding, but may only deliver 500 (depending on your package). It takes a long time to search through and make sure no one is blinking, uncle bob isn’t making a rude gesture and that I have your best angle! I know it can be horrid waiting, but I assure you I will only deliver the best :)!

Do you have recommendations on professional makeup?

Absolutely! I will work with you to find stylists if you would like to take the stress of making sure that cat eye is on “fleek” (or whatever the kids are saying these days). Just let me know and I will set you up with some digits for some rad peeps.

Are you willing to travel?

I LOVE to travel. As long as I have enough notice to get my kids taken care of, I’m there! I have done sessions from Oregon to Texas. I’m constantly in Colorado since I am so close. I’m a little light on the East side of the country and I have NEVER used my passport so help ya girl out! Let’s go on an adventure!
